Buchlovice Château

The Buchlovice château is one of the most important Baroque residences in the Czech Republic. The château, surrounded by a beautiful Baroque garden, is a popular destination for filmmakers – for example, the film The Last Aristocrat, the fairytale The Devil’s Bride and the popular Czech series Cops & Robbers were filmed here. You can see a unique collection of fuchsias grown in the château’s greenhouses. The annual July Garlic Festival in Buchlovice, held in the château park, is also popular. Children will love the mini zoo and be wowed by the mature trees and the chocolate factory in the grounds. The château is also a popular place for wedding ceremonies and wedding photographers.
