The complex of 40 buildings is the largest monument conservation area of above-ground vineyard buildings in the Czech Republic. The lodges were first mentioned in 1544. They are above-ground buildings with two rooms – grapes were pressed and harvested in one room; the wine was stored in the other room. The Vlčnov lodges with vineyards are an important architectural monument that has been declared a municipal monument conservation area.
