The Open-Air Archaeological Museum in Modrá – the Great Moravian settlement of Central Pomoraví – is located near Uherské Hradiště in the village of Modrá. It is important for the way it illuminates one of the most important stages of our national history. The open-air museum is alive with everyday life, educational performances, programmes, experimental melting of metals, the production of ceramics, agricultural production and ongoing archaeological research. Come and experience our ancient past.
Important events are held there throughout the year – the Veligrad historical festival, and the Day of Honey and Mead.
