Nature

Luhačovické Zálesí enters Bílé Karpaty (White Carpathians) and Vizovické vrchy (Vizovice Hills). As for the interesting nature localities, it is worth mentioning Uhliska at Doubrava or Čertův kámen (Devil’s Stone) above Provodov. Luhačovické Zálesí is crossed with many paths for walkers and cycling trails for cyclists, e.g. long-distance cycling trail Beskydsko-karpatská magistrála.

Monuments

In the local woods, you can find several castle ruins, e.g. Rýsov, Starý Světlov or Sehrad. Important church buildings include the church in Velký Ořechov and Malenisko, a famous pilgrimage place at Provodov. Luhačovice is famous for a complex of buildings of architect Dušan Jurkovič; we will just mention Jurkovič house or Jestřábí house. In the museums in Luhačovice and Slavičín, you can learn a lot about the history of spa activities in Luhačovice or the aircraft battle over Slavičín during the WW II.
