Movement in Protected Areas

In Slovácko, there are two Protected Landscape Areas (CHKO – "PLA") – Pálava (Pálava Hills) and Bílé Karpaty (White Carpathians). Movement of visitors is subjected to some limitations so that their unique values are not damaged. General rules tend to be posted in individual villages. Both within and outside CHKO, there are small-sized protected areas (reserves), in which the rules are more detailed and strict. You can find them on the boards, which are located at the entry to the reservation. We would like to notify you of few major principles. Everybody knows that you should not drop the litters in the nature or pick protected plants and collect protected animals. However, not everybody knows that it is not allowed in CHKO to make fires in the open nature, sleep in a tent or outside it or park off the roads and parking places. Whatever applies to whole CHKO shall also apply to reserves, in which it is only permitted to walk along the marked paths. Sport activities (e.g. rock climbing or glider flying) may only be performed within the specified localities.
